Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and Vance Solutions (“we”) for using the PumpSheet app and website (the Services). You accept them when you create an account. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

You must be 16 or older and enter your correct birth date. An account is for one person: keep your sign-in details secure and tell us if someone else uses it. You’re responsible for what happens under your account, unless it’s our fault.

PumpSheet is a training log for lifters who follow structured programs. What’s included for free and with PumpSheet Pro is shown in the App and its store listing. Statistics, Insights and the weights suggested for your next workout come from fixed rules applied to your own data; Coach uses AI to answer your questions and generate workouts.

You can import history from other apps if you have the right to that data. Apple, Google and those apps have their own terms, and we’re not responsible for their services.

Strength training can injure you. PumpSheet is a logging and analysis tool, not a coach, doctor or physiotherapist. It isn’t a medical device, and nothing in it is medical advice.

• Ask a doctor before you start or change training if you have a health condition, an injury or any doubt.
• Suggested weights, Insights, Coach replies and generated workouts are based on what you log, and they can be wrong. You decide what you lift.
• Check the weight on the bar before you lift.
• Use proper technique, collars and safety arms or a spotter, and stop if something hurts.

You train at your own risk, within the limits in Liability below.

Coach answers your questions and generates workouts using AI models from OpenAI. Its output isn’t checked by a person and can be wrong: check a suggestion before you follow it, and never follow it over pain, a doctor’s advice or your own judgement. Coach only proposes changes; nothing changes until you accept it.

Use Coach for your training only, don’t try to make it ignore its instructions, and don’t enter other people’s personal data. Coach has fair-use limits on chats and generated workouts, which may change, and the App tells you when you reach one. We may limit Coach for accounts that misuse it, and we may change the models behind it.

Pro is a subscription you buy through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google sells it to you, shows the price including VAT, takes payment and handles refunds and withdrawals under their own terms.

• Pro renews automatically for the same period until you cancel. Turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge; Pro stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
• If your plan includes a free trial, it becomes paid unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
• Cancel in your Apple or Google account settings. Deleting the App or your account doesn’t cancel Pro.
• If Pro ends, you keep your training log and can still export it.

Your training log is yours. You let us store and process your content only to run the Services for you, such as syncing, Insights and Coach. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from backups and the other records the Privacy Policy describes.

You can export your logged workouts in the App at any time, and ask us for a copy of your other data. Only upload content you have the right to use.

Don’t:

• break the law or anyone’s rights through PumpSheet
• access other people’s data or our systems without permission
• disrupt the Services, or reverse engineer the App where the law doesn’t allow it
• create accounts in bulk or abuse free trials
• copy, scrape or resell the Services, or use them to build a competing product

None of this limits what you do with your own log, exports, screenshots and Insights. Found a security issue? Email hello@pumpsheet.app.

The App, its design, its analysis methods and the PumpSheet name and logo belong to us. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the App for your own training. You’re welcome to share screenshots of your own log, charts and Insights, and we may use any feedback you send us.

We work to keep PumpSheet running and your data in sync, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free.

If a change affects your use of Pro more than in a minor way, we’ll email you at least 30 days ahead. You can then end Pro free of charge within 30 days of our email or the change, whichever is later, and get a refund for the unused part of your period: ask Apple or Google, and if they don’t refund you, we will. If we ever shut PumpSheet down, we’ll give you at least 60 days’ notice so you can export your data.

We’re liable under Dutch law for damage we cause, within these limits:

• You decide what you lift, and we’re not responsible for your own training decisions. If a suggestion, Insight or calculation was wrong because of our error, the rest of this section applies.
• PumpSheet is for personal use, so we’re not liable for business losses.
• For other damage, our total liability is limited to what you paid for Pro in the previous 12 months, or €100 if that is more.

These limits don’t apply to intent or gross negligence, to death or personal injury caused by our fault, or where mandatory law, including product liability law, doesn’t allow them. Your statutory rights as a consumer, including when the Services don’t conform, are unaffected.

You can delete your account at any time in the App, or by email as explained at https://www.pumpsheet.app/delete-account; cancel Pro in your Apple or Google account too.

We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect others. We’ll tell you why and, where reasonable, let you fix it first. If we close your account for any other reason, we’ll give you at least 60 days’ notice and make sure you’re refunded for the unused part of your Pro period. Afterwards, we delete your data as the Privacy Policy describes.

We may change these terms when the Services, our business or the law change, and we’ll tell you about significant changes at least 30 days before they apply. If you don’t agree, you can delete your account and cancel Pro before then and get a refund for the unused part of your period: ask Apple or Google, and if they don’t refund you, we will. Otherwise the new terms apply from that date.

Dutch law applies, and if you live in another EU country you keep the protection of its mandatory consumer law. Contact us first if something goes wrong. If we can’t resolve it, you can go to the competent Dutch court or the courts where you live.

We may transfer this agreement to a company that continues PumpSheet, for example if we incorporate. We’ll tell you beforehand, and you can end the agreement if you don’t agree. If part of these terms is invalid, the rest still applies.
